Polyamide Plastic Casings
Polyamide Plastic Casings provide extended product shelf life and excellent appearance. These thermo-shrinkable 5-layer
casings can be used for all types of frankfurters, wieners and boiled sausages, liver sausage and blood sausage, meat pate,
headcheese as well as soft cheese, butter and other similar products.
Sizes available range from 35mm – 200 mm, in cut pieces, rolls or shirred sticks, and in over 15 different
colours. A “Kranz” variation is also available for sausage in the shape of a ring or semi ring.
A monolayer polyamide casing is also available for smoked sausage products. The single layer allows for permeability of the
casing for use in smoke applications, while still possessing higher barrier properties compared to collagen and cellulose
casings. Over 15 colour choices are available.
